Phil Georgenson, CPCU – President
Phil has more than 25 years of human resources management and executive/professional recruiting experience. Prior to founding PMG in 2001 Phil held executive-level human resources positions for two large organizations. Since its founding, PMG has rapidly become a leading search firm due to Phil’s experience both as an inside corporate recruiter and outside search professional. His commitment to deliver results and provide outstanding service has earned strong loyalties from a diverse group of clients. His consistent “top biller” status is driven by the ability to bring leading industry talent to his clients. Phil is a highly respected national expert in recruiting and talent management and has been a featured speaker at numerous seminars and conferences on the topic.
Phil is a member of The Pinnacle Society, which is an exclusive consortium of the top 80 recruiters in North America. Only elite-level executive recruiters meet the stringent production criteria and ethical standards.
Phil earned a Business degree from The Ohio State University’s Fisher College of Business. He also holds multiple designations from the Insurance Institute of America and The Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM).
Phil is an active member of Pinnacle Society, Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM), American Compensation Association, Human Resources Association of Central Ohio, Ohio Association of Executive Search Professionals, National Insurance Recruiting Association (NIRA), National Association of Personnel Services (NAPS) and numerous local professional associations. He has served on the Boards of the Columbus Chapter of CPCU, Jobs for Columbus Grads (JCG) and other local civic associations.
Anne B. King, CEBS – Vice President
Prior to joining PMG, Anne was a Senior Vice President and Corporate Officer of a leading regional insurance company. Anne was a member of the Executive Leadership Team and led several divisions, in addition to Human Resources. She also worked closely with the Board of Directors, and oversaw the successful integration of several mergers and affiliations. Before that, Anne worked in Human Resources within the banking industry. She has more than 25 years of human resources management and senior leadership, governance and operational experience.
At PMG, Anne is able to capitalize on her broad and in-depth experience to deliver outstanding results to our customers. She listens to clients to find the most qualified candidates who overall best fit and meet their needs.
Anne earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Psychology from The Ohio State University. She also attained her Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) designation.
Anne is member of the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM), Human Resources Association of Central Ohio (HRACO), American Compensation Association (ACA) and the International Society of Certified Employee Benefit Specialists (ISCEBS). Anne has served on a Chapter Board of the ISCEBS, including as President. Anne has also been an active member of the United Way Women’s Leadership Council.
Michael Georgenson, MBA, CPCU – Vice President
Michael joined PMG in 2011 after a start in the insurance industry and serving in business for nearly 15 years. He is naturally inquisitive and has a passion for understanding a client’s unique business challenges prior to any search. Michael currently works with a diverse portfolio of clients connecting them with blue-chip industry talent. He has quickly reached “top producer” status and has been recognized as an industry expert in Talent Acquisition. He has been asked to speak to many groups and associations such as Vistage, FENG, Ohio Recruiters Association and CPCU Society to name a few. He has also been featured in numerous publications such as CEO Magazine and Business First.

He serves on the Risk Management and Insurance Advisory Board for Franklin University and is an active member of the Ohio Recruiters Association, National Insurance Recruiter’s Association, CPCU Society and Top Echelon Network. He has also served as the Vice President of Education for a local Toastmasters International Club and chaired a successful United Way campaign. Additional volunteer activities include the Mid-Ohio Food Bank, Operation Feed, Nationwide Children’s Hospital, and tutoring inner-city school children.
Michael has an undergraduate degree in Financial Management from The Ohio State University and an MBA from Franklin University. He also holds the CPCU designation and numerous other insurance designations. He resides in Dublin, Ohio with his wife, Katie, and sons Jacob and Luke.
Laurie Georgenson – Director, Research and Candidate Development
Prior to joining PMG Employment Consultants, Laurie was a successful Information Technology professional with nearly 20 years of corporate experience. As a former IT analyst with a foundation in project management, Laurie specializes in the area of sourcing, social recruiting, and internet research. She is an expert in strategically employing cutting edge sourcing technologies to pinpoint and locate top talent. She is highly skilled in applying advanced internet searching techniques to produce results far superior to traditional business social networking services. Laurie is a natural born searcher with a passion and drive to seek out the perfect fit every time.
Laurie has a Bachelor’s of Science in Financial Management from The Ohio State University. She lives in Upper Arlington, OH with her husband Scott.
