Leadership Team
Phil Georgenson, CPCU, President of PMG Employment Consultants, has
more than 25 years of human resources management and executive/professional
recruiting experience. Prior to founding PMG in 2001 Phil held the top Human
Resources position in two major organizations. Since its founding PMG has rapidly
become a very highly regarded search firm because of Phil's expertise
both as an inside corporate recruiter and as an outside search professional.
His commitment to delivering results, providing outstanding service and knowledge
has achieved strong loyalties from a diverse group of clients. His consistent
"top biller" status is primarily due to his drive to find the best
candidate for his clients. Although his niche is in the insurance and human
resources
area Phil's firm has expanded to include the recruiting of professional
and executive talent in numerous areas.
Phil is a member of the Pinnacle
Society which is
an exclusive consortium of the top 75 recruiters in the North America. Only
a select few recruiters are admitted do to the rigorous membership criteria
needed to be a member.
Phil has a degree in Business from The Ohio State University Fisher College
of Business. He also has received professional designations from the Insurance
Institute of America and The Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM).
Phil is an active member of Pinnacle Society, Society of Human Resources Management
(SHRM), American Compensation Association, Human Resources Association of Columbus,
Ohio Association of Executive Search Professionals, National Insurance Recruiting
Association (NIRA), National Association of Personnel Services (NAPS) and numerous
local professional associations. He has served on the Boards of the Columbus
Chapter of CPCU, Jobs for Columbus Grads (JCG) and other local civic associations.
Phil is a student of the recruiting field and considered a national expert
in recruiting and talent management areas plus he has been a featured speaker
on the topic in numerous professional and HR related settings.
Phil resides in Dublin Ohio with his wife Anne King (who is Vice President
of a large insurance company), and has two grown children.
Laurie Pomerants, Senior Executive Search Consultant specializes in senior
level search and recruiting assignments. Before joining PMG Employment Consultants
Laurie was a successful sales executive and has almost 15 years senior management
experience. Her years of experience in sales and management have equipped her
with a personable communication style, a broad knowledge base and a drive to
always over perform. Laurie holds a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from The
Ohio State University. Using this experience, she is able to build strong relationships
with both client and candidate. In her recruiting role, Laurie strives to present
only elite candidates, which ensures success and has helped her place leaders
in top positions nationwide.
David Georgenson, Senior
Organizational Development Consultant for PMG Employment Consultants specializes in numerous organizational
development issues in addition to executive coaching assignments.
Prior to joining PMG Employment Consultants, David was Director,
Field Training and Development for Northwestern Mutual. He was responsible for
sales and leadership development for a field force of 7000 individuals. David
led key initiatives in the areas of developing future leaders, improving
productivity, and increasing retention.
One initiative involved designing and implementing a sales management coaching
system. The pilot test yielded a 25% increase in sales.
David's
25 years of experience has included key positions in managing leadership
development activities at the American Cancer Society, Xerox and Citibank.
Additionally, he served as a senior consultant for Development Dimensions
International and Learning International providing Fortune 500 clients with
consulting in team building, curriculum design, competency identification,
change implementation, and leadership and sales development.
His
practice focuses on helping leaders in both non-profit and profit organizations
to achieve their desired performance objectives. His clients describe him as
a
no nonsense consultant that listens intently, emphasizes core issues, and
utilizes a systemic approach to meeting his client's needs.
