PMG’s Customized Search Process

The search process is a critical element to matching the right candidate to an opportunity in your organization. At PMG, we take this process very seriously. We employ a highly developed and comprehensive approach to each search assignment to ensure the desired results are achieved. We can either customize a process tailored to meet the specific needs of an organization or employ our proven approach which includes the following components:

 

 

1. Understand position and organization

  • Job description
  • Company culture
  • Expectations
  • Establish hiring process

2. Develop search plan

  • Identify target companies
  • Select strategic databases
  • Utilize extensive network of top industry talent
  • Create preliminary list of potential candidates

3. Execute search plan

  • Recruit, Recruit, Recruit!!!!

4. Candidate screening

  • Evaluate list of potential candidates
  • Narrow list to only top candidates
  • Candidate will complete PMG’s customized pre-interview screening document
  • Conduct in-person, video conference, or phone interviews

5. Candidate selection

  • Select the most qualified candidates
  • Present and discuss top candidates to client

6. Organize interviews between client and candidate

7. Follow up with client and candidate

  • Obtain feedback from both parties
  • Discuss next steps and schedule

8. Continue to pinpoint top candidates

  • Organize second interviews
  • Check references<
  • Schedule aptitude or personality tests

9. Follow up with client and candidate

  • Debrief
  • Re-qualify

10. Offer

  • Act as mediator in negotiations
  • Facilitate acceptance, start date and additional administrative details

11. Transition

  • Act as mediator

12. Offer

  • Prepare candidate for resignation from current position
  • Maintain close contact throughout process
  • Assist with relocation if necessary

13. Follow up

  • Ensure client’s desired results were achieved
  • Continue valued relationship with client
